The 'DO NOT ENTER' side of the threaded gauge plug should only be manually screwed (without excessive effort) into the machined thread for a maximum of two turns. If it can be screwed in more than two turns, the thread does not meet the requirements (i.e., 'DO NOT ENTER'). For machined parts and gauges, the reference temperature is 20° Celsius. As the manufacturer, VÖLKEL offers an in-house calibration certificate upon request (at an additional cost). Calibration is performed in an independent VÖLKEL measurement lab, following specified directives and standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for each sample. The calibration process uses an IAC thread scanner.
